Impactful Stories: Meet These Brave Souls

The No Chance Foundation was privileged to contribute to helping a brave and sweet 9-year-old girl named Delilah fulfill one of her biggest dreams: visiting Hawaii and staying at the Disney Aulani Resort. Diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in 2019 at just 4 years old, Delilah has faced incredible challenges with strength and courage.

This special trip was part of Delilah's bucket list, and her family, along with their supportive community, worked tirelessly to make it happen. Through fundraising efforts and the generosity of their followers, Delilah's parents were able to gather the necessary resources to organize this magical journey. The No Chance Foundation was honored to play a role in this heartwarming endeavor by making a contribution to support Delilah’s dream.

The trip included a stay at the enchanting Disney Aulani Resort, where Delilah could experience the beauty of Hawaii and the joy of Disney magic. The smiles, laughter, and joy that Delilah shared with her family during this trip were a testament to the power of hope and the importance of fulfilling dreams, no matter the circumstances.

The No Chance Foundation is committed to creating moments of happiness and support for children like Delilah. This trip to Hawaii is a shining example of how, with the collective effort of her family, their community, and our foundation’s contribution, we can make even the biggest dreams come true.

The No Chance Foundation, in collaboration with Down to Ride, embarked on a remarkable project to bring newfound freedom and mobility to Pany, a man paralyzed from the waist down. This ambitious initiative involved the transformation of a trike into a fully customized motorcycle that Pany could ride and control solely with his hands.

This project not only showed clever technical skills but also highlighted the strong impact of teamwork and determination. Volunteers from various backgrounds came together, pooling their expertise and resources to create a one-of-a-kind vehicle tailored to Pany's needs. The modified trike featured hand controls, allowing Pany to steer, accelerate, and brake without the use of his legs. Additionally, the design included a special compartment to securely hold his wheelchair, ensuring that he could transition seamlessly between riding and mobility on the ground.

Ms. Lindsay

Ms. Lindsay, a gentle and warm-hearted 80-year-old woman, has been living alone in her modest modular home for years. Despite her advanced age, she has maintained a quiet and independent life. However, her living conditions had started to deteriorate, and she was struggling to keep up with the necessary repairs. When her refrigerator broke down, it became clear that she was in need of urgent help.

Concerned about her well-being, an individual reached out to the No Chance Foundation, worried about Ms. Lindsay’s broken refrigerator and the overall state of her home. This individual mentioned that Ms. Lindsay had been eating sparingly due to a lack of food and that she didn't have the financial means to fix her refrigerator or make the necessary repairs to her home.
